I didn't realize, at the time, that it would come to mean stress over college and then finals work and then rewatching Hey Arnold and becoming TOTALLY OBSESSED with Nancy Drew and coauthoring a complete crack-fic with Chelsea.

Yeeaaah.

So. I did not win NaNo because I was freaking out over college (but I did almost get halfway through!!) and then who knew that finals came after Thanksgiving?! So THAT was stressful. And then I would rewatch Hey Arnold when I wasn't studying which led to fanfiction feelings and then oh my God all of the Nancy Drew shipper feelings I literally cannot Chelsea and I are on a sinking ship which we will NOT ABANDON AT ANY COST.

So this is just an apology for those who expected me to bounce back after Thanksgiving-ish with Harry Potter etc fanfiction and I DIDN'T instead I bogged all of you down with crack-fic Nancy Drew which I am not going to stop because it feels like my sanity is relying on this series lol.

But currently I'm forcing getting back into my "That Riddle Boy" McGonagall series because I feel bad that I discontinued it. HOPEFULLY I'll get back onto the track I wanted to get on, because I seem to have lost my summary paper...hmm....

Please just bear with me through this Nancy phase and maybe MAYBE I'll try dipping my toes back into Twilight?! I saw some merch today with ESME'S FACE and I totally fangasm'd for a few seconds because OMG FAVORITE CHARACTER WHO IS LEAST ACKNOWLEDGED! But this is not a guarantee, just a possible warning. Like, "Road may be icy" signs on bridges in the summer. You know its not icy, but it COULD be. EVENTUALLY.

So

I am going to take a hiatus

I say this as though any of you care

because I am doing NaNoWriMo.

So I am going to try to stay away from one-shot fics

so I can write 1,700 words a day.

It's always sort of bugged me that I got out of the Twilight fandom before I could get into Emmett's back story; I've always felt I've done him a poor injustice for not including him. Would you guys like to read my account of his back story? It'd be pretty short and to the point, nowhere near as beautiful long as Esme's was, of course, haha.
